The current build uses browser local storage to remember the visitor's cookie choice. It is designed so analytics, advertising, embedded media, or other optional scripts can be added later without running before consent.
What browser storage is
Cookies are small files a website may store through a browser. Local storage is a related browser feature that stores data for a site without sending that value with every request. This site's consent manager uses local storage rather than an advertising cookie.
mbnwa_consent_v2Stores allow or deny, consent version, and the update time.
Category-marked scripts activate only after “Allow optional.”
When the browser exposes GPC, optional technologies remain denied.
The local preference remains until replaced or cleared from browser storage.
Necessary technologies
Necessary technologies support functions such as remembering privacy choices, protecting forms, maintaining security, and delivering requested pages. They do not require optional consent where applicable, though legal treatment may vary.
Optional technologies
Optional categories may include analytics, embedded third-party media, advertising, conversion measurement, or similar services. No optional scripts are currently required for the website's core operation. If optional tools are added, they should be declared in the site code with a category and remain blocked until allowed.
Changing your preference
Select “Cookie settings” in the footer at any time. Choosing “Opt out” records a denial and leaves optional scripts inactive. Choosing “Allow optional” records consent and activates correctly marked optional scripts. Clearing site data in your browser may cause the banner to appear again.
Browser controls
Browsers can block or clear cookies and local storage. Blocking all storage may prevent the site from remembering your choice. Browser help documentation explains the controls available for each device.
Third-party websites
Links to third-party websites operate under their own privacy and cookie practices. Opening a third-party site is separate from allowing optional technology on this site.
